Located on 444,000 square meters of prime real estate on the corner of Silom and Rama IV Road, opposite the green expanse of Lumpini Park in the heart of Bangkok, the Dusit Thani Central Park is a new landmark for the future. The modern form of this new mega complex is inspired by the dynamism of Bangkok while paying homage to traditional Thai heritage.
Developed by Dusit International and Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN), the project aims to create a new lifestyle metropolis in the world’s most visited city. The design is a collaboration between Dragon Company Limited, a Thai-based company established by Architects 49 International Limited, and OMA Asia Hong Kong Limited.
Dusit Thani Central Park complex comprises four buildings with 4-stories of parking. Residential and commercial zones are clearly separated. Dusit Residences are timelessly classic, luxury serviced residences. Unit sizes range from 120 square meters and each unit has direct-entry private lifts. The 69-storey Dusit Parkside offers a total of 389 contemporary style residences with unit sizes starting at 65 square meters. Both buildings are oriented such that all units have a stunning panoramic view of Lumpini Park.
Central Park Offices, with convenient access to the BTS and MRT mass transit systems, serves as a professional hub. It is designed to inspire creativity and productivity. With a total of 90,000 square meters on 45 floors, each unit caters to market demands with a functional, modern and innovative layout.
A low-rise shopping complex, Central Park, boasts high-end retail and offers a revolutionary shopping experience. This is connected to Central Park Offices and to the MRT. Green terraces ascend 4-stories to the 11,200 square meter roof top garden on the 7th floor. The visual effect is of a small, green hill among high-rise buildings. This is the heart of Dusit Thani Central Park.
The reimagined Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel will retain its iconic golden spire, inspired by the temple spires of Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn. The original Dusit Thani spire was, and will continue to be, a symbol of modern hospitality and exquisite Thai heritage. With 39 floors and 259 rooms, the new hotel has fewer rooms but stands taller than the original and is oriented to offer all guest rooms a vista of Lumpini Park. The lobby, restaurants and ballroom are located on the lower floors, while the rooftop bar and golden spire top the hotel.
Construction for this mixed-use complex will commence soon. This will be a major turning point for the Silom CBD with a new, world-class living – working – lifestyle hub in the heart of Bangkok.
