Situated in the Rangsit-Patumthani area, a suburb north of Bangkok, the Bangkok University (BU) campus sits on an east west axis, with Vibhawadee-Rangsit highway at the eastern entrance.

The campus is designed in 4 zones. Zone 1 and 2 to the east are dedicated to academic buildings, while sports facilities can be found at zone 3. Zone 4, to the west, is the residential and recreational area, as well as the future campus entrance with the new mass transit line currently under construction there.

A49 and affiliates of the 49GROUP started working with the university, covering all aspects of design since 1997 and have since continuously designed over a dozen buildings to date.

The university is well known for its Mass Communication programs, as well as business and entrepreneurship studies, focusing strongly on creativity. BU Diamond symbolizes the University’s vision, as well as marking the gateway to the campus.

The Landmark Complex is composed of three buildings. Building A3 is a 6-storey high classroom building with a 4-storey inner court. This building houses 80, 160 and 320 seat classrooms; a 1,600-seat auditorium; a student center, canteen, an administration office, parking and the centralized mechanical room for the whole complex.

Building A2 is the 4-storey Science and Technology building which houses the computer labs and office simulation labs, etc.

Building A1, the 3-storey Creative Arts building, with a 3-storey-high entrance hall and a grand stair connecting all floors. This houses the student exhibition hall and art labs, as well as other supporting facilities.
