Thailand has achieved a milestone in Thailand with the
opening of its first integrated Showroom, Service and Spare Parts facility, or 3S
Center. Aimed at enhancing market appreciation for this world-class automobile,
Subaru 3S Center not only boasts a showroom, but offers additional services
such as a delivery room, demonstration area, and a test track.
The long and narrow site allows for a test track to be
created, running the entire length of the site, allowing slalom and speed
driving to be efficiently tested.
Due to city planning regulations, the center is split into
two buildings. A three-story front building occupies most of the site’s width.
The reception counter, a hexagonal special car gallery, technological and
accessory showcase, and a connection to the service center at the rear building
are all found on the ground floor.
The second floor houses the main showroom, where 12 cars can
be comfortably displayed, a training room and the customer lounge area which
overlooks the test track at the back of the site, allowing visitors to see the
performance of the cars and to hear the roar of the engines.
A void and a continuous staircase connects the second floor to
the third floor where the administration and sale offices are located, with a
view of the main showroom area.
While the rear building occupies less than half of the
width, it stretches more than 100 meters along the length of the site, leaving
the rest of the land for the test track. Accessed through a driveway underneath
the front building, this long building houses the service counter, spare parts
warehouse, and 12 service bays.
