The renovation of the existing hotel, as well as new buildings, was designed to preserve all existing trees and greenery.
Comprising
of various low-rise structures, the buildings weave around the existing trees
and are orientated to face the beach. A tropical garden, looped by the swimming
pool, is located at the center of the property, with the buildings placed
around it acting as a buffer that provides both privacy and tranquility.
As
the site stretches 300 meters from the main entrance to the beachfront, the
lobby was elevated to overlook the hotel garden and pool, providing an
unobstructed view of the sea beyond.
Hua Hin is the
vacation home of the Thai royal family, who often use the Spanish cherry
blossom as a decorative element in their ceremonies and daily rituals. This
inspiration was developed into a pattern that was then applied to shading and
screens on the exterior facades as well as interior elements such as ceiling
panels, complementing the resort’s lush verdancy.
